Animated Palestinian Weaver at a Loom - 30 cm

This animated 30 cm resin scene depicts a Palestinian woman weaving at a large wooden loom. The model was created by local artist Michela Nibaldi exclusively for LCR Presepi by Messi Leandro, while the movement has been personally created by Messi Leandro. The coordinated electric mechanism faithfully recreates the weaving process as the woman moves her upper body backwards and forwards while alternately pressing the loom's foot pedals. The figure is dressed in traditional Palestinian clothing made from real fabric, consisting of a brown tunic, a light-coloured apron and a white head covering. The large loom is entirely handcrafted from natural wood, while the wooden and resin base features a realistic paved floor effect, completing the traditional workshop setting.
