Animated Traditional Carpenter Planing Wood - 30 cm

This animated 30 cm resin scene depicts a traditional carpenter planing a piece of wood in his workshop. The model was created by local artist Michela Nibaldi exclusively for LCR Presepi by Messi Leandro, while the movement has been personally created by Messi Leandro. The coordinated electric mechanism moves the carpenter's body in a realistic planing motion: with both hands gripping the plane, he pushes it backwards and forwards across the wood while his upper body leans forwards and then rises again, faithfully recreating the natural movement of woodworking. The figure is dressed in traditional clothing, consisting of a green long-sleeved tunic, a dark blue cloak draped over the shoulders, light-coloured trousers and simple leather sandals. The workshop includes a sturdy wooden workbench with rough timber ready to be worked, a rear workbench with a drawer, and a ground-effect base scattered with sawdust, completing the scene with remarkable realism.
