The model was created by a local artist exclusively for LCR Presepi by Messi Leandro, with the movement mechanism handcrafted by Messi Leandro himself. This extraordinary representation of the animated Virgin Mary is characterized by remarkable realism, thanks to the mechanized movements that make the scene even more evocative. Mary, dressed in a flowing white robe and a light blue cloak, is seated beside the cradle of Baby Jesus. With tenderness and devotion, she gently rocks the cradle with one hand, while with the other she covers and uncovers the Child with a sheet, accompanying the gesture with a slight movement of her upper body, expressing her maternal love and care for the newborn. The scene is enriched with realistic details, such as the rustic wooden cradle with a cloth draped over it, the terracotta jug beside Mary, and the stone-effect base that enhances the authenticity of the composition.
