The assortment includes five pieces in different shapes and sizes, representing a variety of butcher's cuts. Among them are a complete dressed carcass and several individual cuts resembling legs, shoulders and other sections typically displayed on a butcher's counter. The largest piece depicts the dressed body of a small animal, with the torso cut open to reveal the interior. The exterior is painted in soft pink and beige tones to reproduce the appearance of skin and fat, while the exposed meat is finished in deep red with darker shading to recreate the look of freshly cut meat. The cut surfaces feature finely sculpted grooves and fibres, faithfully reproducing the texture of real meat.
