Animated Holy Family at Work - 30 cm

This resin scene depicts the Holy Family at work in Saint Joseph's carpentry workshop. The model was created by local artist Michela Nibaldi exclusively for LCR Presepi by Messi Leandro, while the movement has been personally created by Messi Leandro. At the centre, Saint Joseph planes a piece of wood, moving his torso forwards and backwards with precise motions. To his left, the young Jesus carefully operates a vice, while to his right, Mary gently sweeps the floor with delicate arm movements. The figures wear fabric clothing. The workshop is richly detailed with carpentry tools, wooden planks and wood shavings, creating an authentic and well-lived-in setting.
