This handcrafted oriental setting in cork, wood and plaster is suitable for 10–12 cm Nativity Figures. Expertly handcrafted by a local artisan exclusively for LCR Presepi by Messi Leandro, it is designed as an authentic backdrop for the Nativity within a traditional Middle Eastern setting. The composition is centred around a building with a large arched entrance, flanked by weathered plaster walls with exposed brickwork that create the realistic appearance of an ancient structure. On the left, a striped fabric canopy supported by rough wooden posts provides a shaded area typical of traditional Middle Eastern architecture. On the right, a bark wall and a sloping roof enriched with natural moss complete the composition, offering an ideal space for displaying figures or animals. The base is finished with sand-effect ground and bordered with natural bark, ready to accommodate the Nativity or other figures. Combining natural materials with skilled craftsmanship, this setting faithfully recreates the warm and timeless atmosphere of the Holy Land.
